Re: idle control behaviour
John, You don't say which idle control - bypass or DBW that you are using. On my twin DBW set-up, I have no additional duty from 20 C Air Con is an additional 4% duty. I have seen problems with the DBW1Duty compared to DBW2Duty where the throttle stop was not accurately set, so was trying to close o...

Re: Output Test Mode Question - Can't Enable Output
Found out I made a schoolboy error, I had previously wired my traditional relay by using a wire that was powered with ignition on and hard wired the earth. I was using this power wire on my solid state relay thinking it was the earth wire to Fuel 11/PWM3, on pin A20. Having wired it correctly, I now...

Re: Output Test Mode Question - Can't Enable Output
I am trying to use a solid state relay to drive my primary fuel pump. Here is the way I wired everything up. https://drive.google.com/uc?export=download&id=1c8BFkXNHeDpKXTKgqL1G1rAvZ8Z-r_l0 The Halltech controller uses a 1000 ohm pullup resistor between inputs 3 and 4. Will I need the same? Than...

Re: Pseudo Dyno to aid mapping using Maths channel on SView
Thanks secure and Stevieturbo. Had read previously read the "How much Power" thread, will have a look and see if I can get that working though. However the fuel and ignition tuning is by RPM and Load cell, so being able to gain an understanding of whether your fuel and ignition settings ar...

Re: Pseudo Dyno, to aid mapping using Maths channel on SView
Thanks Stevie, I have adjusted the thread subject, to reflect that I was aiming at highlighting which cells on your maps may need adjusting after a pull, rather than calculating a power value. Agree with your comments on using time vs speed to to analyse for force = mass x acceleration + wind resist...

Pseudo Dyno to aid mapping using Maths channel on SView
Following on from the thread using a Maths Channel to show the active RPM and Load cells http://www.syvecs.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=995 I wanted to consider whether it would be possible to use a Maths channel in SView to provide a measure of engine performance by calculating the time the en...

Re: Maths Channel to show active RPM and MAP cell
Been pondering whether the time Delta spent in each cell might be a simple record of whether any changes from one pull to the next have shown an improvement in performance. Time and Delta time are shown to three decimal places in SView which may allow an opportunity to somehow display the answer. Lo...

Ahah,
Thanks Rice Racing.
I now know there is an interpolate mode

Re: Launch Control strategy
Thanks Ryan,
Think I have a good place to start with the settings.
Have set up Worksheets in SCal that have the relevant tables, so will hopefully get some practise in to improve the consistency on launches

Maths Channel to show active RPM and MAP cell
When looking at SView logs, I often find myself pondering which Cell was active. Seemed to me that it might simplify the process if you used a Math channel to identify the cell in use. Here are my Engine Speed Breakpoints. https://drive.google.com/uc?export=download&id=1K7o_f8kXSThG2qK5anVGfmxzp...
