Re: Toucan set up
Canbus termination is off ? Obviously worth a try - technically it should be ON but if S6 and Toucan are the only devices on the bus it usually works. Without more details it's rather difficult to advise - for example: new or second hand Toucan; has it ever worked; attach your CAL and I can check t...

Re: Toucan set up
User Guides on our website: https://jti.uk.com/user-guides/ Also be aware of Toucan firmware version issues relating to the S6 (https://jti.uk.com/software-and-firmware/) if you are using RS232 - you need to use firmware older than V1.90 Usually, if you follow the User Guide to set up the datastream...

Re: Backing up existing calibration on ecu
To expand on Stevie's answer, the CAL switch (simplistically) selects different tables or parameters rather than selecting specific, unique calibrations. It might, for example, change the boost target, or select a different set of fuel/ignition/boost "tables" to suit different fuels. So, j...

Have you checked the forum section for the S6 PnP pin assignments?

What "injector earth" are you referring to?

Re: S7-I/S7Plus on Saab
Just checked. It was actually for a Link G4+ (customer's choice) and I made a loom adapter up using connectors recovered from a faulty Trionic ECU as I couldn't track down new headers (probably very high MOQ even if they were available). It had additional cables for MAP knock and lambda sensors, and...

Re: S7-I/S7Plus on Saab
I did a custom loom for a customer for an S6 or S8 (can't remember which) so it's definitely do-able...as is any engine on a Syvecs tbh. Only question is whether it uses a loom adapter (depends on availability of ecu header) or is more involved.

Re: V4 sti knock sensor earthed
Its not throwing any errors on syvecs, I have had about 3 engine trips saying 109 I think, its 3 weeks ago now 109 is VVT fail (again, perhaps a wiring issue?) and that would be logged as an error, although possibly just in yellow to show historic rather than red to show current. Given the injector...
