Re: 2003 Ford Focus RS - sensors question ?
the paddles should initiate these things yes, well normally for a sequential etc.
Haven't a clue what order of events etc are needed for the DSG, especially as it could also have a fully auto mode too I assume ? So it will still shift, without the user actually requesting anything.

Re: 2003 Ford Focus RS - sensors question ?
What are your blips and DBW target etc doing during the shift ?
Is there a blip request ? is it active ? Does DBW target change to reflect any request ?

Re: 2003 Ford Focus RS - sensors question ?
how much throttle blip is there during a downshift ?
They seem to be saying it may not be enough, hence it's slow to reach the desired rpm for the shift to complete.

Re: Integrating S8 with Race Technology Dash2
Can't help I'm afraid. But I once tried getting the Dash2 to work via can with my old DTA ecu many many years ago. I could never get it to work and Race Technology offered no support at all. I ended up selling it on. That said, Kinzy fabrications just listed one for sale they had been using with a L...

Re: Idle issues once fan has come on.
Any number of things
From bad idle control setup, bad voltage swings due to the load, wrong injector data for battery voltages and the list could go further.
Datalog all relevant parameters and see what is going on

Re: Tiny dash battery warning low during ignition on and start-up
Can you add a delay to the alarm ?
Voltage will certainly drop during cranking
