Re: Supra VVTi twin turbo automatic questions.

Chris, I am not aware of a working staged twin turbo setup right now, most people just go for a big single blower. That said, it should be possible to make it work with an S6GPPlus and some support code on the GPPlus to augment the normal boost control strategy. We could look into this if there is s...

Re: GPS Sensors

No idea why or what radar is supposed to mean. RADAR = RAdio Detection And Ranging - a term often used to describe something that is able to detect the presence of a metallic object (like a car) by bouncing radio waves off it. The returned radio wave will be frequency shifted by virtue of the fact ...

Yep, it looks good to me too :)

As for quad AVCS, the inlets are the same but the exhausts have only two teeth if memory serves.

Re: S6GP CAN + BMW E46

Can't you elaborate a little more on CAN bridge, please? The unit I am referring to, which we call "TinyCANBridge" (or TCB) is what we have been using for a number of years prior to the introduction of the S6GPPlus for the purposes of vehicle integration - all S8 and S12 based kits still ...

By my reckoning, four minus one leaves three :P

Re: 3.0R Question/Map request

Gents, First an apology for some incorrect information. It looks like the pattern *IS* supported and I had suffered a brain fart. Here's how to do it :) The pattern is 36-2-2-2 with the following gaps : 18x 10 degrees 1x 30 degrees 9x 10 degrees 2x 30 degrees We can trigger off this with the Single ...

Re: S6GP CAN + BMW E46

The S6GP will be able to run the 2JZ engine in the E46, but it does not have a built in CAN bridge - there is an external one available so you could use that, but it is not quite as tidy as using an S6GPPlus since that has the CAN bridge as part of the box :) If the A/C is demanded via a CAN message...

Re: 3.0R Question/Map request

Jim, last time I looked at the EZ30* engines, they used a crank trigger pattern that is sufficiently different from the EJ and EG series engine as not to be compatible with any of those, and also sufficiently "odd" that it would not be covered by the generic patterns either. For this reaso...

Re: Logging

There is currently no option for recording lambda or fuel corrections in Syvecs. You can log it - you're looking for lam1, cllError and fuelMltCll1 in the logs :) If you can then be bothered to export that data as csv, along with rpm and primary load, it would be possible to build up an average cor...

Re: Sync Error Review Please

Michael, just to clarify, the triggering is not implemented as a PLL - the lock onto the signal may be envisaged conceptually as a digital PLL. Stevie, Long tooth gap errors are just what they purport to be - a long tooth gap :) What this means is as follows : let's imagine that we normally see 1 to...
