Re: Cal switch WG duty adder

Well the first thing you need to check is that you phase duty table is how you want it. I would guess that it currently is backwards which is used if you plumb the valve differently. Your base WG duty table should be higher where the boost is below target and lower where the boost is above target. A...

Re: Cal switch WG duty adder

The answer is in your own screenshot, assuming of course you're not running the old LMP strategy for boost control. Without a cal file to look it it's difficult to see what you're doing. Really you don't need to alter the WG setting, seeing as you have a duty table that is target specific. What are ...

Re: Cylinder Trim Adder Learning

Yes that is exactly what it does. If enabled, and turned on in the relavent call it will slowly advance the ignition on a per cylinder basis until the more familiar knock control strategy is pulling the target amount of ignition to compensate. Of course you will need to balance your knock control wi...

Re: Gear shift cut

The cut is pretty simple, and there's a few ways of doing it. The main problem is that it is nearly impossible to use a separate switch on the gear stick to trigger the cut, what you need is some sort of of load sensing switch otherwise the end result will be unreliable and slow. A common use for th...

Re: Cal Switch Issues

Also bear in mind that the Cal switch may only be set for a maximum of 1 position. But of course the Cal Switch voltage will still change. Also if you're being very quick with your changing of cal switch position, you may go up and down before the stabilisation time allows the Syvecs to register a c...

Skyline update

Having been working on a number of different Skylines of late, I now have had R32, 33 and 34 running on S6 and S8 platforms. I have run on the standard CAS, but also 36-1 with single cam trigger, and now 36-1 using the standard CAS for the CAM sensor info, so only having to add one additional sensor...

Re: RS232 Data Stream Issues

I would check your sensors. Those are the standard default values for those respective sensors, and I suspect the Syvecs is decideding they have failed and defaulting them. Go into your sensor setups and check the sensor failure criteria. If you were to be connected with SCAL at the same time, I wou...

I guess the NTK lambda sensor worked as expected then!

Nice result.

Re: solaris on subaru coil questions

Hi Gaz, As Pat suggests I would convert the TM works coils back to the OEM pin connection. You may need to unsolder the wires on your coilpacks and tidy the spades so you can fit the OE connector on, or altenatively put flying connectors on the coils and use a 3 pin connector of your choice, althoug...

Re: What do you think of these Bosch 1000cc High Imp Injectors

Sam,

I settling on 9bar OVERALL max pressure at the pump, we run 6.5 bar differential pressure.

I am just about maxing them out and an 800cc 5th injector running at the same pressure. It is making quite a lot of power.
