Re: Max. allowed Coil Charge Time (Dwell)
You could certainly go to 4ms, I will check some maps for more info.

Re: help for starting
I know what you mean but it's not quite accurate. It will start in 360 sync, however on the EVO trigger pattern it will need to do up to 4 revolutions to hit 360 sync as it does a second check of the cam sensor to ensure it's synced properly. The easy way to fix this is to change the trigger plate f...

Re: 5Vout capacity and LAN
Of course the 5v is current limited. It is there for sensor power supplies only and you are talking 50-100mA at a guess. If you start to pull the voltage down then ratio metric sensors like a 5v map sensor will start to give proportionally lower outputs. If you need to power something that is going ...

Re: Secondary Load Time Blend
You're using a variable regulator?? Hmmmm, but why? Supply the +VE side of the valve with battery 12v and connect the -ve side of the valve to a PWM output from the S6 (fuel or aux) and use a diode accross the valve with the cathode (bar end) to the +ve side and the anode to the -ve side. If you are...

Re: Secondary Load Time Blend
You will need to add an anti fly-back diode with that idle valve otherwise the response is massively non linear to PWM duty cycle, which may be your main problem if you haven't.

Re: How to wire AVCS actuator?
Tim, It does matter in as much as if you want a minimal fuss setup, you will not only have to change the trigger edge but also the angle offsets and the threshold voltages. If you can do it all yourself from scratch this is absolutely not a problem, as soon as you have to work with someone over the ...

Re: ALS, Gear Cut/Blip, Launch Control
You shouldn't need to be running 30deg ATDC to get good ALS, you need more air and to start to use some fuel cut too to bring the EGT down.

Re: Emergency diagnostics with Syvecs software?
If you want to use the cylinder trims, you will need to adjust the cylinder trim TPS threshold to be less than the idle TPS, whereas by default it's 100%. Easy to miss and I know I've missed it once or twice.

Re: File compare function?
Tuning pot boxes, or more specifically the DTA ECU that seems to rely on them, have got to be the worst thing ever conceived to be used outside of an old engine dyno.
