Re: 2D table with MAP Target multiplier based on ACT

Whilst your in there if we add the same style table with WGTarget multiplier vs EGT that would also go down well, thanks.

2D table with MAP Target multiplier based on ACT

As in the title, I've got quite a few turbocharged racing applications now which are ultimately limited by there charge cooling ability on long runs (think 2hr plus race stints) and it would be very helpful to be able to modify the WGtarget as a function of the air charge temps, at the moment we onl...

Misfire detection

If there's enough processor budget left I'd like to see misfire detection protocol based on crank tooth acceleration, this would be very handy, especially in endurance racing as it would save trolling through the knock logs in a hurry to try to finger a problem cylinder, knock signal alone of course...

Re: secondary throttle control

Cool, it will certainly allow you to manage the way a marginal compressor behaves when very close to the surge threshold.

It will be interesting to see if you'd run into output temp issues as a result of the increased pressure ratio that the compressor could potentially see?

Re: secondary throttle control

I'm intrigued, what effect are you looking for by throttling the compressor intake?

Re: Solaris-ecs controlled Lotus Europa wins

I'm not sure you'll need them to be honest, once your inside the circuit you should be free to wonder about, although the pit lane and pit wall is teams only. The GT Cup is only part of whats on, the full time table is here https://tickets.motorsportvision.co.uk/events/timetables/Fomrula%20Vee%20Fes...

Re: Solaris-ecs controlled Lotus Europa wins

We had a very successful first outing at the GT Cup, Qualifying in the wet conditions was poor for us as we struggled with a very compromised tyre set-up ending up 12th on the grid. Race one however was fantastic as the track had dried and we were back to our known set-up, starting from 12th positio...

Re: Solaris-ecs controlled Lotus Europa wins

We've now entered this car into the Silverstone round of the GT cup, more details here http://www.hofmannsofhenley.co.uk/sports.asp I had a chance to do some fast testing laps in the car at Snetterton last week with the car on the GT cup Pirelli slicks, new unrestricted ride heights and the motor at...
