Re: Syvecs Boost Solenoid Plumbing Info
Easiest way to view plumbing options is with Turbosmarts EBoost2 instructions It covers them all with drawings, although not convinced their description is always ideal They always plumb with solenoid off = lower/base boost level and use the MAC solenoid. http://www.turbosmart.com.au/wp-content/uplo...

Re: Syvecs Boost Solenoid Plumbing Info
The thing is too...there are many ways to plumb external gates because you have access to both chambers.
And plumbing will vary depending on overall boost targets, range of boost required, wastegate spring, EGBP, and of course the solenoid.
So it isnt as easy to say there is one size fits all.

With the above help I have an idea what I'm doing now.
As the manuals say, they do expect some level of competence from the reader in order to make use of them.

Re: Throttle calibration
Here's a really crappy video showing how to set the TPS. This is only one aspect however, there are various settings within the map itself that relate to the base open/closed values too which will need looked at. You dont have to use the specific values Ive used, that's entirely up to whoever will b...

Re: Throttle calibration
I'm unsure if I have an issue or not here...... The car idles just fine, AFR sitting around 15. When I press the throttle, even just a tiny bit, the revs drop and the car almost stalls. If I keep the throttle down, it cuts the engine altogether. There is no rise of RPM at all, it just falls right o...

Re: What pins should I use?
So is it the S6GP main power connector pins you want ? Any Syvecs dealer should be able to supply, or Tim/Toucan maybe etc or this should be them. Junior Power timer ( the larger pins ) http://uk.farnell.com/jsp/search/productdetail.jsp?sku=1328858 Micro Timer II ( smaller pins ) http://uk.farnell.c...

EGT Calibration ?
Should all K type probes be the same ? I bought one of these to use, https://shop.vems.hu/catalog/sensor-type-p-53.html But the only EGT in the Sensor DB lists a Texense 1250degC unit This seems quite off with this probe, readings also seem erratic. Ambient sits at around 70degC When running tempera...
