Hi Mark,
You have a Rev Limit for LIMP Mode: Limiters --> Rev Limit --> Engine Speed Limit in Limp Mode
In case you have DBW you can also set a DBW Max. Target for LIMP Mode: Drive By Wire --> Limp Mode limit
Jasper.

Re: rally car application
Hi, An S6 should be able to do everything you have put on your requirement list. Are you running AVCS heads (since you mention CAM Position instead of CAM signal)? If no it won't take any additional Input/Ouputs from what you mentioned but if yes the amount will go up because you have sensors for ea...

E85 vs. Meth mixes.
All, Now that the Flex Fuel strategy is supported it opens up a whole new scope of improvement for performance without a lot of hassle. I have been a frequent runner of some Meth mixes and it works very well. However one questions that comes to mind is the following: E-85 is said to have an octane r...

Syvecs S6GP Pinouts PDF
Hi Gents,
I have made yet another PDF with the Pinouts visualized indicating the different "Groups" with different colors.
I hope it provides some assistance to those who want to make some looms.

Re: Syvecs S8 Pinouts PDF
There are certainly 16 Fuel Ouputs in the list.
As Paul mentioned 2 are on Pins #47 and #20 and since they are located close to Lam#1 and Lam#2 they are best used as Lambda Heaters and I'm quite sure that was what the designers had in mind
Cheers,
Jasper.

Syvecs S8 Pinouts PDF
Hi Gents,
I made a Pinouts PDF to visualize all Pins on the S8 ECU and have used colors to visualize all potential "Groups" of functionality.
Hope it provides some assistance to anybody making looms.

Re: S6 knock sensor prob
Hi Drew, The "Basic Knock Control" that all the Syvecs ECUs come with works very well and is enough for most applications. If your car is used on the road and/or visit the circuit once every now and then this is probably the best for you. The "Advanced Knock Control" which is an ...

Re: Max. allowed Coil Charge Time (Dwell)
Hi Mark, Ultimately you would need to use an oscilloscope and monitor the dwell curve. You should perhaps use a wideband current clamp to measure the current from the 12V Power feed to the coil pack. You should see a charging current when the coils are charged. You can slowly increase Dwell time unt...

5Vout capacity and LAN
Hi there, I'm in the middle of making a loom for the S8 for my car and would like to know what the actual 5Vout1 & 2 capacity is in terms of Amps. Is it current limited? When doing a quick LAN wiring trial to make sure I was doing it the proper way I found something strange. I connected as follo...
