Re: Sequential Paddle Downshift Blip (no clutch)
I don't think any of that is needed. You need to cut blip cut. You need to make the ALS consistent, that is, either turn it OFF or tune it properly. Using the dog preparation cut with ignition cut for about 40ms gives you time to reintroduce fuel while opening the throttle. And then when the ignitio...

You don' t need custom firmware to do this. You can reprogram the keypad to send data in a format the S7 or above can read on custom can import.

Re: Bosch 2-wire TBV settings
Because an idle valve is a proportional device. The diode stops the back EMF, (I think) the back EMF from the collapse the magnetic field will effect the field being reestablished during the next pulse, so you're average field strength is reduced. What we want is a more of an averaged constant curre...

I used 300hz on a 2wire valve, it absolutely needs a flyback diode to work properly. My PWM output looks like this:

Re: Launch Control Settings
Not really Tim. In this case we are just using the vehicle speed as a stationary/moving status flag. If the GPS speed were 100% reliably then we could perhaps start to do some better things with it, as it becomes a "5th wheel" speed which can can peg RPM against. If you switch from a timer...

Re: Launch Control Settings
Hi John, It's good to see you're taking in an interest in your setup again! The reason your activation speed is set so low is to try and overcome the delay the occurs due to the speed converter fitted on your car. When we initially set it up at Combe in 2014 that was causing a problem with prompt ac...

Re: Cam raw not changing
Cam phase comes from the exhaust cam and will be static on single MIVEC evo head.
You want to look at VVT1inRaw which is what you should use for fine tuning latch angles for the VVT.
