Re: Stack data stream addition
Thread revival time. I want to use CAN ECHO for the datastream to my RS232 connected Dash4Pro, which works currently using RT datastream. I want to replace the last two frames with EGT and TC Cal switch values, hence I want to replicate what RT sends when RT is chosen, prove that works, then substit...

Re: Pin does not support the required input config
I have an email from Life that says the X10 can be used for VVT. However the ecumaster steering wheel CAN switch I'm just fitting is going to free up five analogue inputs on my X10 so I will look at moving the front wheel speed sensors from the ECU to the X10 and then I can Wire the VVT to the ECU s...

Re: Pin does not support the required input config
I reckon its the reduced IO in my ECU Stevie. AN#11 works as inlet VVT, but AN#16 doesnt. It must be AN#16 doesnt support frequency inputs and the ECU refuses to allow the CAL to assign VVT to an input that isnt going to work. When I've moved my CAL switches to the Dashboard CAN Switch, I'll have th...

Pin does not support the required input config
I'm trying to use AN#16 (GEN) C1-08 on my F88 ECU as an Exh VVT sensor input. It was previously used for Steering Wheel Angle input but I'm trying to reassign it. I've unassigned it from SWA, but if I try to assign it to CAM EXH VVT, I see Pin does not support the required input config when I try to...

Re: EGT probes
Cheers. Just found there is a target adder f(egt1) in Run Mode Fuelling / Corrections / Closed Loop Lambda which is set to 0 for all breakpoints. (I'll not be changing that) Was just curious really. So is EGT2 for 2nd bank if the engine was a V configuration? Does it matter if EGT1 is pre or post-tu...

Re: EGT probes
I'm enjoying this thread, I've fitted 5 x EGTs to my new engine, and I've got the ECUMaster EGT-CAN box providing their readings over CAN. I'm running firmware v620 My F88 ECU has Exhaust Gas Temp 1 and 2, which I can assign frames from the EGT-CAN box if I want to, but I cant find much information ...

Re: Launch Control Settings
Panic over. I've now looked at the data from the last pair of runs on Sunday, and before I went out, I'd raised the upper base engine rpm from 6050 to 6500 at the highest speed breakpoint of 45mph. (It was previously set to 6050rpm which equals 40.5mph in 1st gear so it couldnt have reached 45mph at...

Re: Launch Control Settings
I'll put some screen shots up when I've had time to go through all the settings this week.
Is there a diagram that explains all the settings that contribute to launch rpm and launch exit speeds?
