Re: Connection to Plex
I have a customer who wants to use those controls on his Plex, but has an S6. Because he will also have our GPS/expander unit, I will be enhancing the software to receive the packets from the Plex and transpose them to "virtual inputs" - so TC Cal (for example) might be in Slave input 20....

Re: Connection to Plex
UPDATE: Well, the S6 and I/O module with the Plex dash did not work out. I upgraded to the S8 to eliminate the I/O module, hopefully all this will work together. Also the S8 might fix some of my other mysterious issues I was having with other functions as the DBW, Cal switches and wheel speed sensor...

Re: Connection to Plex
Most likely I probably do not have the dash data parameters set up correctly and or the S6. My lack of knowledge on this subject makes it hard to explain. I just finished loading the car on the trailer so I can take it to LMS-EFI, Chris should be able to fix the issues I am having. If not I will tou...

Re: Connection to Plex
Good info from all, Just to be clear. I connected the Plex to the I/O since I did not know or was not aware that it could be connected to the S6 since I had the I/O already slaved. I do need or want the GPS data sent to the S6. I am just trying to figure out the correct way. 1. I did contact Plex ab...

Re: Connection to Plex
Tim, The plex CAN1 connected to the CAN bus 2 on the Expansion box. The CAN1 is used to slave the unit which is working. Not sure if this helps or not. Note with or with out a termination resistor the same message appears so I am guessing the S6 just does not like the custom CAN enable in the datast...

Connection to Plex
Just wondering if anyone has had this message pop up and what to do if so? Message " Only one addition to CAN datastream allowed" pops up when connecting to SCal and the device is "not in sync" until you choose NONE on the datastream. S6 with I/O 10 expansion port. Plex SDM 500 w...

PWM Fuel labs Prodigy questions
I had a couple of easy questions for the pros. Current set up Scal 2.15.9 Firmware 174.2 S6 with exp I/O I have installed a Prodigy Pump and would like to run PWM to control the pump for prime and ramp up with rpm and boost, still running a return reg. Manual for the pump states 500hz-1500hz PWM pul...
