Re: FP-Limp at 1.5 bar / 6000rpm

Wow, what an high detailed answer  Thank you very very much for that. I'd love to learn more about that whole mapping process and what does affect what. The main problem at the moment seems to be that my technical english isn't advanced enough to completely understand what you wrote. But I gu...

Re: FP-Limp at 1.5 bar / 6000rpm

Hey everyone :) It has been a while but finally I've managed to change the fuel pump and do some test-runs. No more FP-Limp :D But I guess it is now time to adjust the calibration file. If anyone is interested, I've added the datalog of the run with the map that was mapped when the boost dropped at ...

Re: FP-Limp at 1.5 bar / 6000rpm

yes, it was only tuned to 1.2 bar at over 5000rpm due to the weak wastegate actuator spring. I wanted to do a full throttle run in third, so Ryan could tweak the rest for the 1.5bar above 5000rpm but as now my fuel supply is too weak I will have to fix that first. And thanks for looking at the TC. G...

Re: FP-Limp at 1.5 bar / 6000rpm

Ok, thank you again :) So you think, that my fuel delivery is the problem, too.
I already started to drop the tank. Let's see what the new pump and bigger fuel lines can do :)

Thank you

FP-Limp at 1.5 bar / 6000rpm

Ok, this is a long story, that began in Summer 2013 but with my latest problem so quickly solved thanks to "stevieturbo" I am now confident to solve this as well :) And maybe it is helpful to others, too. Well, I built my MR2 3sgte rev3 turbo with some upgrades: JUN 264 cams, Mahle pistons...

Re: wrong speed reading

ok, thought I cannot change the tyre diameter on radar (but I now see, I can :) ) And I wanted to change it to a wheel sensor as I wanted to use the traction control. But I just realized that I don't have enough free sensor inputs to fully assign 4 wheel sensors :( So no traction control, but well, ...

Re: wrong speed reading

Ah, thank you very much. If I'm remembering right, then it is set to "radar". Will change this to my wheel abs sensor and adjust the rest. Not sure, if I am using any traction control settings, but will check that before. Would surely be nice to use the traction control as well. Found the ...

wrong speed reading

Hey, while looking at my logged file, I realized, that the driven speed, my S6 calculates it wrong. http://i283.photobucket.com/albums/kk290/timtaylor_photos/wrong%20speed%203rd%20gear_zpsqpjwita8.jpg It says I went 186 km/h - 115mls/h at 5800rpm in third (!) gear. This would be a very quick kind of...

incredibly fast - vehicle speed reads 240kph in 3rd gear

Hello everyone, this is more a cosmetic problem which I could not solve myself. My vehicle speed reads too much. When driving in third gear at 7000rpm my speedo reads around 150kph but when I look at the logged speed on the syvecs logfile it says 240kph. Is there some math function that converts mil...
