Re: Data logging in 200ms steps only -> ???

Got the problem solved right after having had finished the post:

Parameter values for stop logging conditions must not be set higher than those for start.

Works fine now !

Data logging in 200ms steps only -> ???

When I've used data logging first time this season, I noticed a weird behaviour of the ECU's logging activities. If I download logging data as usual, there comes a bunch of files which all contain logs of 200ms duration only. File names of about the half of the files begin with "NoRTC..."....

Re: Ignition coil recommendation

Thanks mates !! Very interesting answers. But - the CDI driver box in combination with stock coils excepted - no COP solutions there (AEM only with a CDI Driver needed too). Must see how to go on. CNP is not te preferred solution to go for. I'd hate to cut my Whifbitz carbon spark plug cover

Ignition coil recommendation

The stock coils of my Toyota 2JZ-GTE are worn out, i suggest. Even with new plugs gapped to 0,6 mm and installed there's no way to run more than 1.8 bar of boost. If i exceed 1.8, misfire immediately will occur. Over the winter i plan to go for other coils. So i'm looking for powerful as well as dur...

Re: DCCD

Don't know what a DCCD is. I suppose you need a flyback diode in parallel to an inductive load. Easy to get are the switchmode-supply recifiers.
Examples: MBR2045, MBR3045, those are ultrafast dual shottky diodes that make 45 volts and 20 or 30 amps.

Hope that helps.

Re: Syvecs Boost Solenoid Plumbing Info

Some detailled questions to the plumbing info for external dual port wastegates: As decribed above, the metal nipple shall be feeded to the pressure source, and the side nipple to the wastegate top port. By this way the solenoid is routed to the top port with its "normally open" path. To p...

Re: Closed loop fuel pump setup

I currently use two denso 1020 intank fuel pumps that work in parallel mode in my Supra MKIV. The negative power of both i connected to the flange plate without any insulation. Outside of the flange theres a M6 bolt the GND is attached to. So i can use each of both contacts of the original power con...

Re: Sync problem @ high rpm

Today i logged the cam sensor @ idle rpm. Even @ 800 rpm it easily reaches the pos. and neg. saturation limits of +/- 5V. So i set the high threshold to 2.5 V and the low to -1.0 V. The car logically still idles well. Tomorrow i will do a rpm limit pull and check out if the problem is sorted now, bu...

Re: Sync problem @ high rpm

Thanks Pavlo

Thanks a lot for your hints and help. I will check out all that tomorrow evening.
On more idea is to record the analogue input of the cam sensor at idle, in order to make sure it exceeds the high threshold.

Re: Sync problem @ high rpm

OK, now regarding the bottom curve, the noise exceeded the 1.4 V trigger threshold by 1.6 to 1.8 V before the "main" signal rised. That's why the error occured. So i should try how to go for 1.6 to 2 V threshold. We'll see how much the sensor delivers at idle rpm. That must be more than th...
